  • 1 jar of Green olives (pitted or unpitted) in brine
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped or sliced
  • 1/4 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp olive oil

How to Make Marinated Olives

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Marinated Olives in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Drain the olives from the brine well. You can rinse under cold water if you like.
  • Step 2
  • Then place olives in a small bowl.
  • Step 3
  • Add the chopped garlic, garlic salt, oregano and olive oil. Mix all together.
  • Step 4
  • Cut the lemon in half and squeeze about 2 tablespoons of juice onto the olives. Then cut as thinly as you can a few slices from the other half of the lemon and add to the olives.
  • Step 5
  • Let the olives marinade in the refrigerator for at least 2-4 hours prior serving.
