  • 1 squid (gutted, cleaned, cut into bite sized and boiled)
  • 1 onion (sliced thinly)
  • 1/3 carrot (shredded)
  • Dressing (mix in advance):
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp whole-grain mustard
  • 3 Tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp sake
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/2 Tbsp each olive oil, vegetable oil

How to Make Marinated Squid

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 2 steps you must follow to make Marinated Squid in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Soak onion in cold water for 5 minutes. Drain and squeeze well. Sprinkle salt on shredded carrot and leave, squeeze the moisture out well.
  • Step 2
  • Combine squid, onion, carrot in a bowl. Just before serving, pour the dressing over it and toss.
