Ingredients: Marshmallow Fondant

  • 16 oz marshmallows
  • 4 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp tps vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup soft butter
  • 2 lbs powder sugar

How to Make Marshmallow Fondant

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Marshmallow Fondant in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Melt marshmallows in microwave for 1 minute to 1 1/2 minutes or until starting to melt
  • Step 2
  • Mix in water and vanilla in to melted marshmallows. Move mixture in to mixer.
  • Step 3
  • Mix in all the powder sugar 1 cup at a time, Saving 1 cup of powder sugar for kneading. Once mix is firm, remove from mixer and knead the doe. Use the last cup of sugar to help it not to stick to counter. Use the soft butter as lube on your hands as you knead the doe. Knead for about 10 minutes.
  • Step 4
  • Wrap in plastic rap and store in refrigerator over night. Once the doe is firm, roll it out to a 1/8 in thickness.
