  • 50 grams Granulated sugar
  • 20 grams Honey
  • 50 grams Butter
  • 50 grams Cake flour
  • 50 grams Almond flour
  • 5 grams Matcha
  • 1/2 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 Candied black beans

How to Make Matcha Cake Sticks

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Matcha Cake Sticks in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Bring eggs to room temperature. Combine the cake flour, almond flour, matcha, and baking powder and sift. Microwave the butter (roughly 1 minute) to melt.
  • Step 2
  • Beat in the eggs. Add granulated sugar and honey. Whisk well.
  • Step 3
  • Sift in the dry ingredients and stir until it's not floury. Add the melted butter in small batches and whisk.
  • Step 4
  • Pour the mixture into a square tin lined with parchment paper. Smooth out the surface and top with candied black beans. Bake in 170°C (338°F) for 20 minutes.
  • Step 5
  • Remove from pan when it's slightly cooled down. Chop into desired sizes.
