  • 2 lb ground beef
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 cup seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup zesty Italian dressing
  • 4 clove garlic minced
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 packages sub buns
  • banana peppers
  • cheese of your choice ( I used mozzarella )
  • oil for pan frying

How to Make Meatball Subs

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 11 steps you must follow to make Meatball Subs in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • combine beef, egg, breadcrumbs, Worcestershire, Italian dressing, garlic, and onion in mixing bowl and mix well
  • Step 2
  • form into golf ball size meatballs.
  • Step 3
  • heat about 1/4 inch of oil in a pan over med high heat
  • Step 4
  • pan fry meatballs until browned on the outside
  • Step 5
  • remove from pan and place in cock pot and cover with spaghetti sauce. ( I was short on time so I put these in a roasting pan and baked them in the oven )
  • Step 6
  • cook in crockpot in med heat 2-3 hrs or until meatballs are done or in oven at 350 got 45 min to a hour
  • Step 7
  • once meatballs are done remove from oven.
  • Step 8
  • place buns in a cookie sheet and full with meatballs and sauce.
  • Step 9
  • top subs with banana peppers and cheese
  • Step 10
  • return subs to 350 oven until cheese melts
  • Step 11
  • eat and enjoy!
