  • 1 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 can mushrooms
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 2 slice bread
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp veg. oil
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 2 cup beef stock/broth
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp worchester sauce

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make meatloaf & mushroom gravy in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • in large bowl, combine ground meat, onion (except 2 teaspoons) & seasonings to taste.
  • Step 2
  • tear bread into small pieces, soak in milk until most of the milk is absorbed.
  • Step 3
  • in medium bowl, combine bread, eggs, ketchup, Worcester sauce & mustard. using hands, blend this mixture into meat.
  • Step 4
  • put meat mixture in baking dish, shape into loaf.
  • Step 5
  • bake at 400° f for 1 hour.
  • Step 6
  • while meatloaf is baking, saute mushrooms & remaining 2 teaspoons of onions in oil until tender. add flour & cook till light brown. add broth, simmer 10 minutes.
  • Step 7
  • slice meatloaf & top with mushroom gravy.
