  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup rice flour (if desired)
  • 3 lbs ground beef or ground turkey (I use a mixture of both)
  • 1 lb bacon or turkey bacon

How to Make Meatloaf (with a hint of bacon)

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Meatloaf (with a hint of bacon) in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Sautee the onion and garlic for 5 minutes in the oil of your choosing. Add the bell pepper and sautee for 5 more minutes. Add the kale or collard greens and sautee for 1 more minute.

  • While that's cooking, chop up the bacon or turkey bacon and sautee for 5 minutes.
  • Step 3
  • Place all the other ingredients into a bowl, then add the vegetables that you just cooked. Mix them together, put them into 2-3 9x11" baking pans.

  • Bake at 375 degrees for 30-40 minutes, until cooked through the center and a little crispy on the outside.
