Ingredients: Melon Mousse

  • 5 grams Gelatin powder
  • 2 tbsp Water
  • 200 grams Melon
  • 10 grams Granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  • 50 grams Plain yoghurt
  • 100 grams ★Heavy cream
  • 10 grams ★Granulated sugar

How to Make Melon Mousse

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make Melon Mousse in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Dissolve the gelatin in water in a double boiler.
  • Step 2
  • Purée the melon in a blender or food processor, and mix in the lemon juice and granulated sugar.
  • Step 3
  • Add the yoghurt and mix well.
  • Step 4
  • Add the gelatin from Step 1, and mix well until until it thickens, then leave it to cool.
  • Step 5
  • Add the granulated sugar marked ★ to the heavy cream, and whip until soft peaks form. Stir it into the bowl from Step 4 in 2-3 batches.
  • Step 6
  • Pour the mixture into the mousse cups and leave in the fridge to harden.
  • Step 7
  • Top with chopped melon and mint to finish.
