Ingredients: Mexene Shrimp

  • 4 Tbl butter
  • 1 medium onion chopped small
  • 2 lb med shrimp(peeled & devained)
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 tbl chili powder
  • 2 cup powdered milk(make as directed on box)
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 Tbl worcestershire sauce
  • 1 dash of garlic powder

How to Make Mexene Shrimp

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 3 steps you must follow to make Mexene Shrimp in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Melt butter in medium pot on med low heat. Mix flour and chili powder in bowl, set aside. Add onion and saute till translucent. Add flour mix in with onion & butter in pot and cook about 5 -10 min on low to cook flour. Add shrimp at this point and stir till just starting to turn pink.
  • Step 2
  • Slowly add milk into shrimp & flour mixture while stirring, to help against clumps. Let cook for 5 minutes more then add ketchup, worcestershire and dash of garlic powder and let simmer 10 more.
  • Step 3
  • Serve over steamed whit rice.
