  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can Tomato sauce
  • 1 cup Macaroni or shell noodles
  • 3 yellow hot chili peppers (in a jar)
  • 3/4 cup Chicken stock or broth
  • 1/4 diced onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • salt, pepper, garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • dash ground cumin
  • dash turmeric
  • 2 tbsp oil

How to Make Mexican Macaroni & Meat

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Mexican Macaroni & Meat in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Saute onions in a bit of oil
  • Step 2
  • Add ground beef to pan and season with salt,pepper,garlic powder,cumin, chili powder, & turmeric
  • Step 3
  • Cook meat until no longer pink and add garlic and chili peppers. Cook for 20 more seconds
  • Step 4
  • Add tomato sauce & chicken stock and season sauce to taste with salt and garlic powder, bring to boil then simmer on low
  • Step 5
  • In another pot, boil noodles til just done, drain and rinse in cold water
  • Step 6
  • Add drained noodles to sauce. Serve with refried beans and warmed flour tortillas. Enjoy!
