  • 1 lb Lean ground beef
  • 4 tbsp Taco seasoning (1 pkg)
  • 1 can Kidney Beans (drained)
  • 1 cup Salsa
  • 1 cup Water
  • 4 Flour tortillas (6 inch)
  • 1 cup Mexican shredded cheese mix
  • 1/3 cup Sour cream
  • 1/3 cup Chopped green onions (about 1 large)

How to Make Mexican Mush

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Mexican Mush in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Brown meat in large non stick skillet on medium-high heat (drain the fat from meat)
  • Step 2
  • Add seasoning mix, beans, salsa, and water; stir.
  • Step 3
  • Bring to boil then reduce heat to medium-low; simmer 5 min.
  • Step 4
  • Cut up tortillas into roughly 1x1inch squares
  • Step 5
  • Stir in tortillas and top with cheese. Cover and let sit for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted. Top with sour cream and onions.
