  • 1 packages Jumbo shells
  • 1 lb Chorizo sausage
  • 1 cup Chopped onion
  • 3 clove Minced garlic optional
  • 1 can 16oz black beans rinsed
  • 1 packages Your favorite Mexican cheese
  • 16 oz your favorite Mexican cooking sauce ( I use Herdez brand)
  • 1 can 16oz tomatoes w green chile

How to Make Mexican Shells

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 9 steps you must follow to make Mexican Shells in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Cook pasta as directed
  • Step 2
  • Cook onion and garlic add chorizo cook until done drain any grease ( pat dry if want)
  • Step 3
  • Add black beans cook for about 2 min
  • Step 4
  • Add about 1/4 or 1/2 cup of cheese
  • Step 5
  • Put a layer of sauce on bottom of 13x9 baking dish
  • Step 6
  • Stuff shells with meat mixture
  • Step 7
  • Spoon tomatoes over top of shells along with rest of sauce.
  • Step 8
  • Add rest of cheese on top
  • Step 9
  • Bake 350 until cheese is melted
