Ingredients: Mexiquiche

  • 1 pie shell
  • 2 cup shredded cheddar
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 3/4 cup salsa
  • 4 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 1/2 cup evaporated milk or milk

How to Make Mexiquiche

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make Mexiquiche in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 375
  • Step 2
  • Press your pie shell into a pre formed pan. Pie pan or quiche pan. I am using a quiche pan from Target. I love it because you can pop the whole quiche out of the pan.
  • Step 3
  • Cook ground turkey. Add 2 tbs taco seasoning and a dribble of oil. I use olive but veg oil is fine.
  • Step 4
  • Coat the bottom of your pie shell with the cooked meat
  • Step 5
  • Mix together eggs, salsa, 2 tbs taco seasoning milk and cheese in a bowl.
  • Step 6
  • Pour egg mixure over meat. Make sure it coats all the meat. If not, add another egg and a bit of milk til right.
  • Step 7
  • Put in the oven and cook 45 min. Poke the middle with a knife or toothpick. If it comes out clean, it's done. If not, put it in the oven and check every 3 to 5 min.
