  • 300 grams Macaroni
  • 120 grams Philadelphia light(or other light cream cheese)
  • 150 ml Semi-skimmed milk
  • 75 grams Reduced fat grated cheddar cheese
  • 198 grams (optional) Can of drained sweetcorn(no added sugar or salt)
  • 75 grams (optional) Lean ham, cut into cubes

How to Make Michael C's Macaroni Cheese

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 8 steps you must follow to make Michael C's Macaroni Cheese in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat the oven to 190°C.
  • Step 2
  • Cook the macaroni.
  • Step 3
  • Whilst the macaroni is cooking, mix the philadelphia(cream cheese) with the milk and half of the cheddar.
  • Step 4
  • Drain the pasta and return it to a pan. *
  • Step 5
  • Mix in the cheese mixture, sweetcorn(optional) and ham(optional) *
  • Step 6
  • Turn mix into a greased ovenproof dish and top with the remaining cheese.
  • Step 7
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes or until light golden brown.
  • Step 8
  • * When mix is in the pan do not cook it, you put it in the man to mix in the cheese mixture to the macaroni.
