  • 100 grams Peeled shrimp
  • 100 grams Hanpen

  • 1 tbsp ✩ Mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp ✩ Katakuriko
  • 1 Edamame (frozen)

How to Make Microwave-Steamed Shrimp and Hanpen Bites

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make Microwave-Steamed Shrimp and Hanpen Bites in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Rip up the hanpen and put it in a plastic bag. Chop up the shrimp into about 1 cm long pieces, and add them to the bag (a rough chop is fine).
  • Step 2
  • Add the ingredients and knead the mixture well over the bag (until the hanpen is mashed and becomes sticky, as shown in the photo).
  • Step 3

  • Step 6
  • Let them cool down a bit before removing the plastic wrap.
  • Step 7
  • Arrange on serving plates. Enjoy with a little ponzu sauce.
