Ingredients: Mini Pecan Pies

  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 box frozen tart shells

How to Make Mini Pecan Pies

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make Mini Pecan Pies in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Heat oven to 350°F
  • Step 2
  • Chop pecans in super small pieces.
  • Step 3
  • In a large bowl put all ingredients EXCEPT for pecans. Use a hand mixer and mix on medium speed for about 30 seconds. Until mixed well.
  • Step 4
  • (This pic is the brand of shells I bought at Walmart.) Place each frozen tart shell on a cookie sheet. In each tart shell add a heaping tsp of chopped pecans. Then pour filling mix to the top of each shell. (This filling should fill approx. 10 tart shells)
  • Step 5
  • Bake at 350° for 25 min.
  • Step 6
  • Remove pies from cookie sheet and cool on rack.
  • Step 7
  • This recipe can easily be doubled.
