  • 120-140 g desiccated shredded coconut (about 1/2 cup)
  • 1 tsp ghee or butter
  • 240 ml whole milk (1 cup)
  • 1/4 tsp ground cardamon (green)
  • 4 Tbsp sugar
  • Extra shredded coconut for rolling

How to Make Mini Toasted Coconut Ladoo

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Mini Toasted Coconut Ladoo in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Melt ghee or butter in a frying pan on low. Add coconut and lightly toast so some of the shreds are golden brown. Be very careful not to burn!!
  • Step 2
  • Add milk gradually and cook on medium low. Stir constantly to avoid burning.
  • Step 3
  • When most of the milk is absorbed, add sugar and cardamon powder. Continue cooking on low-medium until sticky, stirring constantly.
  • Step 4
  • When the mixture is thick enough to form into balls, remove from heat and put into a bowl.
  • Step 5
  • While still warm, form into small balls using 1 Tablespoon of the mixture each.
  • Step 6
  • Roll in extra coconut flakes and they're ready!
