  • 1 bunch Fresh mint leaves
  • 2-3 fresh green chillies
  • 1/2 Lemon
  • 1 1/2 tsp Pomegranate powder (anardana)
  • 5 tbsp Plain natural yoghurt
  • to taste Salt

How to Make Mint Chutney

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make Mint Chutney in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Place mint leaves green chillies lemon juice pomegranate powder in a food processor
  • Step 2
  • Add a little water to
  • Step 3
  • Blend until all ingredients are finely chopped and blended together
  • Step 4
  • Remove from processor and add salt as required
  • Step 5
  • Add the chutney to some plain yogurt and adjust salt if needed
  • Step 6
  • Store any excess chutney in an ice cube tray and freeze for future use. Just add 1-2 cubes to yogurt when needed
  • Step 7
  • Enjoy with tandoori chicken, kebabs, or grilled/bbq lamb.
