  • 500 grams Plain cooked rice
  • 3 tbsp ★Miso
  • 1 tbsp ★Sugar
  • 1 tbsp ★Mirin
  • 1 tbsp ★Mentsuyu

How to Make Miso Yaki-Onigiri

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Miso Yaki-Onigiri in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Combine the ingredients in a dish a little bigger than the rice balls. Add additional sugar to taste.
  • Step 2
  • Shape the warm rice through the plastic wrap. 100 g each is best!
  • Step 3
  • Coat the rice balls in the miso from Step 1.
  • Step 4
  • Coat all sides.
  • Step 5
  • Arrange on the tray for your toaster oven and toast. Adjust the amount of toasting to taste. You can toast just one side, or you can toast both sides.
  • Step 6
  • Once toasted, let it sit for a bit to cool and it's done.
