  • 3/4 cup sugar

  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • topping
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup chilled butter
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 9 steps you must follow to make moist coffee cake in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • preheat oven to 375, grease and flour pan
  • Step 2
  • In large bowl, beat sugar, butter and vanilla. beat in egg until creamy.
  • Step 3
  • In medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda and salt
  • Step 4
  • Beat in flour mixture and milk with sugar mixture, alternating flour and milk (start and end with flour mix).
  • Step 5
  • pour half of the batter into the pan.
  • Step 6
  • whisk brown sugar, flour and cinnamon in a small bowl. Cut in butter with pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture is crumbly.
  • Step 7
  • put half of the topping on the cake in the pan.
  • Step 8
  • put the rest of the cake batter in the pan and top off with the brown sugar mixture.
  • Step 9
  • cook for 30 minutes
