  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup long grain white rice
  • 2 cup chicken broth
  • 4 tbsp melted butter (added after baking)

  • Preheat oven to 375°
  • Step 2
  • Saute onion & butter until it is translucent add to 9x13 baking dish (love my pyrex)
  • Step 3
  • Add 1 cup long grain white rice. Stir in 2 cups of boiling chicken broth
  • Step 4
  • Cover & bake for 18 minutes
  • Step 5
  • After taking out of oven, gently stir in 4 tbs of melted butter with fork.
