  • 1 cup rice
  • 2 cup water
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 4 spears asparagus, chopped in 1/2" chunks
  • 3 white mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 medium size sprig broccoli, chopped into same size chunks
  • 1/2 grn. pepper, chopped into 1/2" chunks
  • 3 spring onions, sliced
  • 1/2 red pepper, sliced into 1/2" chunks
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 skinless chicken breast, chopped into 1/2" chunks

How to Make Momma's St. Patrick's Day Stirfry

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Momma's St. Patrick's Day Stirfry in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Make rice according to package directions. While cooking, make veg.
  • Step 2
  • Add about 1/4 cup of oil of your choice to a hot large fry pan.
  • Step 3
  • Add all veg, except green onion, plus the chicken breast in pan and stirfry til chicken is cooked!
  • Step 4
  • Add about 1/2 cup of water to pan and let veg steam .
  • Step 5
  • Put cornstarch in small bowl and add 1/4 cup water and ketchup and mix well.Add to pan to thicken sauce.Toss to coat all veg well.
  • Step 6
  • Serve over fresh cooked rice. Serves two well!!
