Ingredients: Mommas Chilli

  • 2 lb Ground beef
  • 1/2 cup Green pepper
  • 1/2 cup Sweet onion
  • 1 packages Mild cheddar cheese shredded
  • 2 packages Chili mix
  • 1 can Red kidney beans
  • 1 can Chili beans
  • 3 tbsp Butter
  • 1 can Diced tomatoes
  • 2 large Fresh tomato

How to Make Mommas Chilli

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 9 steps you must follow to make Mommas Chilli in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Step 2
  • Brown ground beef ( or turkey) in large skillet. Drain all grease from meat. Put meat in large baking dish aside.
  • Step 3
  • Chop up all fresh veggies
  • Step 4
  • Melt butter in pan and cook down all fresh veggies ie green pepper/onion/tomato
  • Step 5
  • Put chili mix into meat mixture, add kidney beans, add chili beans mix together well
  • Step 6
  • Add sauteed veggies to meat and mix again
  • Step 7
  • Pat flat and sprinkle cheese over tip
  • Step 8
  • Bake 15 minutes and serve
  • Step 9
  • *Adding fritos chips and a spoonful of sour cream is optional
