  • 4 bags of premade croutons, we use 14 oz bags.
  • 1/2 lb butter
  • 3 or 4 medium onion, chopped finely
  • 4 or 5 stalk celery, chopped finely
  • 32 oz chicken broth
  • Spices
  • 1 tbsp poultry seasoning
  • 1 tsp mustard powder
  • 1 tbsp sage

How to Make Moms Stuffing

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Moms Stuffing in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Saute equal amounts of the chopped onions and celery in 1/2 of the butter.
  • Step 2
  • Once softened melt in remaining butter and spices.
  • Step 3
  • Allow to cool and hand mix with crountons.
  • Step 4
  • Pour broth over crounton mixture and continue to combine by hand until well mixed.
  • Step 5
  • Taste it! Adjust spices to your liking
  • Step 6
  • Bake at 350°F for 1 hour, covered in a greased casserole dish. If you want a crispier top uncover for the last 15 minutes.
