  • 5 cup corn chex, crushed (or chex of your choice)
  • 1 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 6 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1/2 lb fresh mushrooms, sliced (could also use 8oz. canned mushrooms, drained)
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 cup Half & half
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 dash pepper
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

How to Make Mushroom & Cheese Pie

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Mushroom & Cheese Pie in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 325°F. Grease 9" pie plate.
  • Step 2
  • Combine chex, oregano, & melted butter until well mixed. Press onto bottom & sides of pie plate. Bake for 8 minutes. Cool for at least 5 minutes.
  • Step 3
  • Spread mushrooms in bottom of shell.
  • Step 4
  • Combine eggs, half & half, salt, pepper, & onion powder. Pour over mushrooms. Sprinkle cheese evenly over top.
  • Step 5
  • Bake for 35 minutes. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving.
