  • 2 Tbsp Olive oil
  • 400 g. Chicken cut up into chunky pieces
  • 1/4 Cup White wine
  • 250 g. Button mushrooms cut in half
  • 2 Tbsp Wholegrain Mustard
  • 1/4 Cup boiling water
  • 1 Tbsp Dijon Mustard
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Corn flour/starch in a small amount of cold water (2 tbls water)
  • 1/4 Cup Single Cream

How to Make My Chicken Mushroom in Mustard Sauce

    Step 1
  • Heat the oil in a wok or frying pan . Then add the Chicken fry for 5 minutes stirring

  • Make a well in the middle and pour in the wine and let it bubble and boil to reduce alcohol for 2 minutes then add the boiling water and stir

  • Add the Shallots and stir

  • Add both the mustards and stir well turn heat down cook for 1 minute
  • Step 6
  • Lastly add the cream and stir in simmer for 1 minute and add the cornflour and mix to slightly thicken
  • Step 7
  • Serve with new potatoes or fries, homemade chips also
