  • 8 cup ap flour
  • 2 packages active dry yeast rapid rise
  • 1/4 cup lukewarm water
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 cup milk scalded
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1/3 cup melted vegetable shortning

  • Shift flour and measure

  • Mix yeast and lukewarm water add sugar let sit 10 minutes.

  • Step 5
  • Then knead till dough is smooth and elastic about 10 minutes adding more flour for kneading
  • Step 6
  • Shape into ball set into a bowl you can spray with nonstick or grease the bowl with vegetable shortening. Then spray the top side with nonstick cover with damp cloth, let it rise about 1 1/2 hours
  • Step 7
  • Preheat oven 400° Fahrenheit after the 1 1/2 hours
  • Step 8
  • Punch down on the dough turn dough over again, let rise till double then shape rolls as desired. Put on pan brush with melted butter bake 20-25 minutes till browned on top
