  • 1 Salt and pepper

  • 2 tbsp ✩Mirin
  • 2 tbsp ✩Soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp ✩Honey

How to Make My Teriyaki Chicken

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 8 steps you must follow to make My Teriyaki Chicken in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Put small cuts into the chicken. About 6 cuts here. You don't have to cuts in the skin.
  • Step 2
  • Sprinkle salt, pepper and sake. Then leave it for about 20 minutes. Mix ✩ ingredients.
  • Step 3
  • Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and brown the chicken from the skin side.
  • Step 4
  • Turn it over and brown 5 more minutes over low heat.

  • Add the ✩ ingredients, cover the pan, and heat it over low heat for 5 more minutes.
  • Step 7
  • Take the lid off, and boil it down over medium heat. Reverse the chicken several times and mix well with the sauce. Finish cooking when the sauce is thickened.
  • Step 8
  • Cut the chicken, serve and put the sauce on it.
