  • 1 lb Private Selection Italian Trottole noodles
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 salt (as needed for taste)
  • 1 dash ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (your fave)
  • 1 cup extra cheese (for topping)
  • 1 bacon bits (garnish)

How to Make My Way Mac & Cheese

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 9 steps you must follow to make My Way Mac & Cheese in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven 350°F.
  • Step 2
  • Boil noodles as directed. Found these noodles at Kroger. Drain and set them aside.
  • Step 3
  • In same pot used to boil noodles, add the butter and flour. Slowly work it into a roux, adding salt for flavor while cooking off the flour.
  • Step 4
  • Add milk, stir continuously until thickness desired. Add black pepper, garlic powder, and nutmeg.
  • Step 5
  • Add cheese, continue to stir until you have consistency of cheese sauce.
  • Step 6
  • After noodles are cooled, add egg and fold into noodles.
  • Step 7
  • Add noodle mixture into cheese sauce. Carefully fold noodles into sauce.
  • Step 8
  • Pour into casserole dish. Add the remaining cheese plus bacon bits. Bake for 15 min.
  • Step 9
  • Once done, you can add small dollops of butter. Certainly will melt and add richness to the dish.
