  • 2 15oz cams of diced tomatoes
  • 2 clove garlic minced
  • 1 large diced yellow onion
  • 3 cup chicken broth or vegetable broth
  • 1/2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp dried rosemary
  • 1 tsp salt (or Salt to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 garnish with drizzled olive oil and sour cream if desired

How to Make Navy Bean and Tomato Soup

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Navy Bean and Tomato Soup in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Sautee onions in olive oil until translucent. Add garlic and Sautee for about 30 seconds.
  • Step 2
  • Add beans and camned tomatoes . Then add your rosemary, oregano, salt, pepper, chili flakes if desired.
  • Step 3
  • Stir ingredients and cover half way with lid. Cook for 20 to 30 minutes on medium low.
  • Step 4
  • When finished blend with handheld hand mixer until smooth and creamy. You can also blend in stand up blender in batches. Drizzle with olive oil and garnish with a dollop of sour cream if desired! Enjoy!
