  • 6 oz unsweetened baking chocolate
  • 2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 3/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 1/2 cup strong coffee
  • Viennese glaze
  • 1 1/4 cup chocolate chips
  • 2/3 cup heavy cream
  • 3 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Nestle bittersweet pound cake in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Melt chocolate in microwave, 1 min, then stir. Then 30 seconds, then stir. Repeat till melted.
  • Step 2
  • Blend sugar, butter til fluffy. Still beating, add vanilla and eggs. Stir in melted chocolate.
  • Step 3
  • Add in dry ingredients, blend well, add in coffee. Mix well.
  • Step 4
  • Pour into greased and floured Bundt cake pan. Bake at 325 for 55-60 min.
  • Step 5
  • Cool 30 min., then remove from pan. Let cool completely before glazing.
  • Step 6
  • For glaze: heat cream, vanilla and powdered sugar in bowl in microwave. I did for 2:35. Add in chocolate chips. Cover and let set for 5 min. Stir until smooth. Let cool. Slather that on top. Keep any extra for dipping your cookies in or stirring into your coffee....
