  • 1 Egg white
  • 40 grams Sugar or artificial sweetener
  • 10 grams ☆Powdered gelatin
  • 50 ml ☆Water
  • 1 Your favorite powdered ingredients for dusting the marshmallows (See Hints)

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make Not so Sweet! Homemade Marshmallows in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Put the gelatin and water marked ☆ in a mug or container to soften the gelatin. Whip the egg white and sugar to make a hard meringue.
  • Step 2
  • Microwave the mug at 900W for about 30-40 seconds until the gelatin dissolves completely. Add to the meringue and whip well.
  • Step 3
  • Pour into a container and let it cool down to harden. Then it's done!
  • Step 4
  • You can take the marshmallow out easily. Flip the container over, and cut the marshmallow into small squares. Dust with your favorite powder and serve.
  • Step 5
  • I poured the mixture at Step 2 into heart shaped silicone molds, and froze them. You can freeze them just like in.
  • Step 6
  • This is another variation. I dropped the mixture from a spoon and topped with walnut, my favorite. Let them cool down until they set!
  • Step 7
  • I piped the mixture like fresh cream, then let them cool to set.
