  • 110 grams caster sugar
  • 30 grams golden caster sugar
  • 100 grams self raising flour
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 140 grams rolled oats
  • 1 tsp bicarbonate soda
  • 2 tbsp semi skimmed milk
  • 40 grams coco powder

How to Make Oat Biscuits

    Step 1
  • Pre-heat an oven to 170°C / 150°C fan.
  • Step 2
  • Cream together the butter, milk and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Step 3
  • Add the vanilla extract and mix in.
  • Step 4
  • Beat in the bicarbonate soda.
  • Step 5
  • Stir in the oats, coco and flour.
  • Step 6
  • Using a desert spoon, take some of the mixture, roll into a ball, flatten and place on a tray.
  • Step 7
  • Place in the oven and bake for 20-25 mins, until they are golden brown. Remove and allow to cool.
