  • 100 grams Fresh okara
  • 1 Apple
  • 200 grams Plain yogurt
  • 50 grams Skim milk
  • 30 grams Maple syrup (or honey)
  • 4 grams Powdered kanten

How to Make Okara, Kanten, Apple and Yogurt

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 9 steps you must follow to make Okara, Kanten, Apple and Yogurt in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat the oven to 180℃. Cut the apple into 8 equal pieces, remove the stem, and cut the pieces into smaller pieces. Line the cake mold with parchment paper.
  • Step 2
  • Add the apple pieces and plain yogurt to a food processor. Turn it on and mix.
  • Step 3
  • Add the skim milk and kanten, and mix until combined.
  • Step 4
  • Put the fresh okara into a bowl. Add the mixture from the food processor to the bowl. Mix with a rubber spatula.
  • Step 5
  • Add the maple syrup (or honey). Mix well.
  • Step 6
  • Pour the batter into the mold. Bake in a 180℃ oven for around 30 minutes.
  • Step 7
  • When done baking, let it cool in the mold. When it has cooled off, leave it in the mold and put it in the fridge to chill.
  • Step 8
  • When it's completely chilled, remove from the mold.
  • Step 9
  • Cut into slices of any size you like.
