Ingredients: Okonomiyaki

  • 1 cup Flour
  • 2/3 cup Water or Chicken Broth
  • 2 Eggs
  • 4 cups Cabbage
  • 2 stalks Green Onion
  • 4 slices Bacon (optional)
  • 1/2 cup Shrimp (optional)
  • Mayo/Okonomiyaki sauce to garnish

How to Make Okonomiyaki

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Okonomiyaki in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Whisk together flour and water (or broth) until smooth.
  • Step 2
  • Add eggs, cabbage, onions and optional ingredients
  • Step 3
  • Pour half the batter into a hot oiled pan. Cook for approx. 3 minutes then flip when bottom begins to brown and cook other side until brown.
  • Step 4
  • Garnish with mayonnaise and okonomiyaki sauce.
