  • 250 grams Okra
  • 1 large Onion
  • 4 small Tomato
  • 3 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 1 and 1/2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp Cayenne pepper (chili powder)

How to Make Okra Indian Style

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Okra Indian Style in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Cut all ingredients into 1 cm cubes.
  • Step 2
  • Heat oil in a pot and fry the okra over medium heat. Fry until the stickiness of the okra is gone.
  • Step 3
  • When okra has cooked, add the onion. Fry until transparent and soft. Finally, add the tomatoes and continue frying by evaporating the tomato juice.
  • Step 4
  • Add salt, turmeric and cayenne pepper. Adjust the taste by adding salt and cayenne pepper.
