  • 2 stalks of celery
  • 1/2 large onion, chopped
  • 1 cup couscous multi colored
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tsp whole cumin seed
  • 1 tsp ground turmeric powder
  • 3 1/2 tbsp olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 green onion
  • 1 tsp Hungarian paprika

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 8 steps you must follow to make Olive Couscous in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Heat oil chop celery and onion add to hot oil
  • Step 2
  • Add cumin seeds, turmeric, and paprika
  • Step 3
  • Stir in well open can of olives save the liquid
  • Step 4
  • Chop the olives roughly
  • Step 5
  • Add to onion mixture
  • Step 6
  • Add couscous and stir well coating with the olive mixture
  • Step 7
  • Add liquid of olives , I use Lindsey brand its not to salty,
  • Step 8
  • Add water stir in over heat when liquid disappears remove from heat let sit for 3 minutes garnish with green onion hope you enjoy
