  • 4 potatoes
  • 3 carrots
  • 1 celery root
  • 300 grams Chicken breast
  • 5 pickled cucumbers
  • 5 halves pickled red peppers
  • 400 ml mayonnaise
  • 200 grams canned Green Peas
  • 1 salt and pepper to taste

How to Make Olivier Salad

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 8 steps you must follow to make Olivier Salad in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Clean and wash very well the potatoes, carrots and the celery root. Boil them until soft.
  • Step 2
  • Boil the chicken breast for 30 minutes.
  • Step 3
  • Cut all the vegetables,the pickels and meat into small pieces. And put them aside in a large bowl.
  • Step 4
  • Prepare homemade mayonnaise or use any jar of mayonnaise you bought.
  • Step 5
  • Add the mayonnaise into the big bowl and mix it together with all the vegetables. Rinse the canned Green Peas and add it to the bowl.
  • Step 6
  • Add salt and pepper to taste
  • Step 7
  • Place the salad on a plate decorate it with olives or carrots, pickles or boiled egg whites.
  • Step 8
  • It can be served after 2 or 3 hours. Enjoy it with family!
