  • 2/3 cup Mixed vegetables
  • 445 g Cooked Rice (1 lb)
  • 1/2 clove minced garlic
  • 2 tsp salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 5 Tbsp tomato catsup
  • 1 Tbsp Parmesan cheese
  • 4 eggs
  • 8 Tbsp milk
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 2 Tbsp butter

How to Make Omurice! Japanese Omlet Rice

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Omurice! Japanese Omlet Rice in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Put butter in a large skillet, cook chicken and onion until cooked.
  • Step 2
  • Add and fry the mixed vegetables, rice and rest of the filling ingredients. Set aside.
  • Step 3
  • Beat eggs and add milk, salt and pepper.
  • Step 4
  • Melt butter in a large skillet. Cook 1/4 egg mixture like a crepe.
  • Step 5
  • Carefully spoon 1/4 of the rice filling over one half of the omelet. Flip the omelet over to cover the rice filling! Repeat with rest of the ingredients.
  • Step 6
  • Drizzle tomato catsup on the omurice if you like.
