  • 3/4 lb Ground turkey breast
  • 1 can diced tomatoes with green chilies
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 3/4 lb large pasta shells
  • 1/2 can black beans drained
  • 2/3 onion, chopped
  • 2 piece garlic cloves minced
  • 2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 1/2 cup mexican cheese
  • 1 salt and pepper
  • 1/2 tbsp ground cumin
  • 1 1/2 tbsp olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1 packages your favorite taco seasoning

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make One pot skinny mexi-pasta in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Heat oil in sauce pan and saute diced onion for about 5 minutes.
  • Step 2
  • Add turkey,cumin,taco seasoning, and salt and pepper. Cook on medium high until turkey is crumbled and cooked.
  • Step 3
  • Pour in diced tomatoes green chilies, diced tomato and black beans . Mixed well and cook long enough until you get the next ingredients ready
  • Step 4
  • Pour chicken broth and pasta in pot. Mix . Add half of cheese and mix.
  • Step 5
  • Bring to a boil and cover . Cook on medium heat stirring occasionally for 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Step 6
  • Once cooked ,Add the rest of mexican cheese on top and let it sit to cool. Serve with optional ingredients( diced green onions , diced avocados ,salsa,more cheese)
  • Step 7
