  • 1/2 tsp Mirin
  • 50 grams Nanohana
  • 50 ml Dashi stock
  • 1 tsp Usukuchi soy sauce
  • 6 Salt-preserved sakura blossoms

How to Make Onigiri with Sakura Petals for Picnics

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Onigiri with Sakura Petals for Picnics in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Cook the rice with a little sake (not listed) and konbu seaweed. Divide into 1/3 and 2/3.
  • Step 2

  • Step 5
  • Strain the shrimp, removing excess moisture, and add to the rice with sesame seeds. Shape into balls.
