  • 1 tbsp grated orange peel

  • Melt butter over medium heat in a saucepan. Whisk in flour and sugar

  • Gradually add the milk, stirring frequently. Cook until mixture boils.

  • Grease 10 6 oz ramekins and sprinkle with 3 tbsp sugar

  • Beat egg whites and remaining sugar until stiff peaks form
  • Step 10
  • Fold 1/3 of egg mixture into milk mixture
  • Step 11
  • Then fold milk mixture into remaining egg whites
  • Step 12
  • Spoon into ramekins and bake until set about 30 min. Serve immediately
