  • 1 1/2 cups Oreos, crushed finely (about 20)
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • 3 packages (8 ounce) cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup (8 ounce) sour cream
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 eggs lightly beaten
  • 15 coarsely chopped, Oreos divided

How to Make Oreo cheesecake

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Oreo cheesecake in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Combined crush Oreos and butter in a large bowl. Press into bottom and one inch up sides of a greased 9 inch springform pan. Set aside.
  • Step 2
  • Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth beat in the sour cream, flour, vanilla and salt.
  • Step 3
  • Add eggs beat on low just until combined. Fold in three fourths cup of the chopped Oreos. Pour into crust. Top with remaining cookies.
  • Step 4
  • Place on baking sheet. Bake at 325 degrees 60-65 minutes or until center is almost set.
  • Step 5
  • Cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes carefully running a knife around edges. Cool 1 hour longer. Refrigerate overnight then remove sides of pan.
