  • 46 oz tomato juice
  • 29 oz tomato sauce
  • 1 can kidney beans (drained)
  • 1 can pinto beans (rinsed)
  • 1 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp white sugar
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 envelope chili seasoning

How to Make original chili

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 3 steps you must follow to make original chili in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • brown hamburger meat
  • Step 2
  • over high heat combine all ingredients in an 8qt. pot.
  • Step 3
  • bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Simmer for 1 1/2 hours.
