  • 60 grams Cellophane noodles
  • 150 grams Thinly sliced beef (ground meat also ok)
  • 1 pack Onions
  • 3 Green peppers
  • 1 Paprika
  • 1 packet Mixed mushrooms
  • 300 ml Water
  • 2 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp White sesame seeds (to add at the end)
  • Combined seasoning ingredients:
  • 2 tbsp ◆ Sugar
  • 4 tbsp ◆ Soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp ◆ Sake
  • 2 tsp ◆ Gochujang
  • 1 tbsp ◆ Grated garlic
  • 2 tsp ◆ Weipa (granulated soup stock also OK)
  • 2 tbsp Sesame oil (to finalize)

How to Make Our Delicious Korean-style Japchae

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Our Delicious Korean-style Japchae in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Slice the beef thinly and shred the other vegetables. Combine all the seasonings.
  • Step 2
  • Heat some sesame oil in a frying pan and stir fry the beef quickly. Add the onion and mushrooms and continue to stir fry.
  • Step 3
  • Add 300 ml of water and the combined seasonings to the frying pan. When it boils, add dried harusame bean noodles. Loosen, stir and fry over high heat.
  • Step 4
  • Once the sauce cooks down, add the bell pepper and green pepper. Stir fry quickly.
  • Step 5
  • Add 2 tablespoon of sesame oil and mix. Finalize by sprinkling some sesame seeds and it's done.
  • Step 6
  • I tried adding yellow bell peppers as well. Please try this recipe with your favorite vegetables.
