How to Make Oysters Sous-Vide

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Oysters Sous-Vide in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Be sure to start with raw unshucked oysters.
  • Step 2
  • Heat your water bath to 85 C / 185°F
  • Step 3
  • Line sous-vide pouch with aluminum foil so the oyster shell doesn't pierce the pouch.
  • Step 4
  • Vacuum seal.
  • Step 5
  • Heat in the water bath for 4-5 minutes.
  • Step 6
  • Remove oysters from the pouch and serve with seasonings of your choice. I used salt and lemon. Some like Tabasco as well.
