Prepare the ingredients before making Paella in your home. Then, follow these steps below to serve Paella for your family or friends.

Ingredients: Paella

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 chorizo sausage
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 red and yellow pepper
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 pack of schwarts spanish smoked paprika chicken sauce pack
  • 4 tsp paprika if you cant get the schwarts pack
  • 1 chicken stock
  • 1/3 packages just under of a pack of paella rice

How to Make Paella

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 12 steps you must follow to make Paella in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Dice and pre cook the chicken in a large pan with a little oil.
  • Step 2
  • Welst the chicken cooks cut the peppers, onion and tomatos into dice and pre crush the garlic.
  • Step 3
  • Put the stock into a jug and add boiling water (about 3/4 of water to a medium size jug) and leave to one side.
  • Step 4
  • Cut the chorizo into thin slices and put into the same pan used to cook the chicken.
  • Step 5
  • Add a little oil and cook for 5 minutes just to bring out the oils in the chorizo. Then re-add the chicken and mix.
  • Step 6
  • Add the schwarts pack (or paprika) to the chicken and mix till everything is coverd.
  • Step 7
  • Add the pepper, onion, garlic and tomato into the mixture then cook for 5 minutes
  • Step 8
  • Add the paella rice into the mixture and cook for a further 7 minutes then add the stock.
  • Step 9
  • Stir and turn down the heat to low and put a lid on to the pan.
  • Step 10
  • Cook for an hour or so till 3/4 of the liquid has gone.
  • Step 11
  • Welst cooking keep checking every 10 minutes and stir regularly in till cooked.
  • Step 12
  • Serve with garlic bread.
