  • 2 tbsp xylitol or truvia
  • 1 tbsp tapioca flour or arrowroot powder
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 3/4 cup almond meal
  • 3 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1/4 tsp salt

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • Step 2
  • In large bowl mix the frozen berries of your choice with a tablespoon of tapioca flour (or arrowroot), 1 tablespoon of xylitol, and vanilla.
  • Step 3
  • Place fruit in pie dish.
  • Step 4
  • In another bowl mix together the almond meal, salt, remaining sweetener, and coconut oil. Mix together until coconut oil no longer in chunks and well incorporated in mixture.
  • Step 5
  • Spread mixture over berries evenly.
  • Step 6
  • Place dish in oven for about 45 minutes or until berries begin to boil.
  • Step 7
  • Let cool. Serve.
