Ingredients: Papaya Salad

  • 1 small Papaya
  • 1 head Shallot
  • 2 small Chilli
  • 1 each Lime/lemon
  • 1 tbsp Fish sauce
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 2 small Tomato
  • 1 Long beans
  • 1 tsp Crushed roasted peanuts

How to Make Papaya Salad

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Papaya Salad in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Peel papaya and wash. Scrape the flesh and set aside. Can also use papaya and carrots together.
  • Step 2
  • Mix liquid together (lime juice and fish sauce) and add sugar.
  • Step 3
  • Use a big mortar and pestel, pound the papaya flesh for about 10secs. Add the remaining dry ingredients except for the crushed peanuts and pound for further 10secs.
  • Step 4
  • Add the juice and mix well, garnish with crushed peanut on top.
  • Step 5
  • Adjust the sweetness and sourness to your liking.
  • Step 6
