  • 6 medium-size Russet potatoes
  • 1/2 c grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 c flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 4 tbsp butter

How to Make Parmesan Potatoes

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Parmesan Potatoes in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat over to 350 degrees F. Peel the potatoes, and cut each into 8 pieces. Combine the cheese, flour, salt and pepper in a paper bag.
  • Step 2
  • In batches, place the potatoes in the bag, hold the top shut and shake. Put the butter into a 9X13" pan.
  • Step 3
  • Place the pan in the preheated oven until the butter melts. Remove the pan and add the coated potatoes. Bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes.
  • Step 4
  • Use a metal spatula to turn the potatoes over, being careful not to dislodge the crust that will have developed on the bottom.
  • Step 5
  • Bake for an additional 20-30 minutes, or until the potatoes are golden brown on all sides. Serve hot. 178 calories/serving; GL=20, Glycals=32
